Your state's official driving log, filled in and signed on your phone

Logging the hours is only half the job. When the permit period is up, most states want the hours on their own paperwork: a New York MV-262, a Pennsylvania DL-180C, a North Carolina DL-4A, a Texas 30-hour log. That usually means an evening at the kitchen table copying months of drives by hand onto a PDF, then hunting for a pen.

The latest version of DriveMint does that part for you. Pick your state's form, sign it on the screen, and you have a finished PDF ready for the DMV.

   Open the export

   On the Drives tab, tap export. DriveMint picks the official form for the permit state on the learner's profile.

   Tap Sign and Export and the parent or supervisor signs with a finger. On the generic log the learner can add their signature too, or skip it.

   Share the PDF

   The finished form opens in the share sheet. Print it, email it, save it to Files or AirDrop it to whoever is heading to the DMV.

On most forms a parent or guardian signs in the app, and the signature is drawn straight onto the certification line with the date beside it. On North Carolina's DL-4A, the supervising driver signs instead. DriveMint suggests the supervisor with the most drives and you can pick someone else.

Some states won't accept a drawn signature. Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Arizona and several others want the form signed in front of a notary or a DMV examiner, or at least by hand. For those, DriveMint fills in everything else and leaves the signature and date lines blank for a pen, because a digital signature there would only get the form turned away.

Signatures are drawn fresh for every export and never saved. They aren't stored on the phone, included in a backup or sent in a QR transfer. Like the rest of DriveMint, the whole thing happens on your device with no account and no upload.

Six states and one special case are missing from that list on purpose. Georgia, Utah, New Mexico and Louisiana have no form to fill: the parent confirms the hours in person. Arkansas and Mississippi don't require supervised hours at all. Idaho's only log is for parent-taught driver training rather than supervised practice.

Learners in those states, and anyone who wants it, can export DriveMint's own driving log instead: every drive with its date, day and night minutes, total time and supervisor, plus a summary of each supervisor's hours.
